Thought Maps

Body as Language is an example of a thought map that I often make as a sketch before I write or as a form of note-taking when I read philosophy. In this case it was made to accompany a text I wrote in 2014 on the work of artist Emma Waltraud Howes for her artist publication Ankyloglossia (n.tongue-tie). I understand the maps as a method to gather my thoughts by spatializing them to push the limits between image, text, diagram and model.
