Brutalist Heavens

Brutalist Heavens took longer to paint as it required an unusually high degree of trial and error to get the effects I am looking for in this image. This work, for me, really feels brutalist in a physical way. I also like the greater degree of areas of monochrome here. The play with using brutalism as an ideology sometimes makes me giggle looking at the work, at other times, I find myself sinking into a quiet contemplative space in which I can stretch my sense of being outward in all directions in bodily rhythms. This is what I am aiming for with these works in general.
