Brutalist Atopia is an experiment in which I began blocking in the matrix of circles at the top of the canvas in a more random manner than usual. At the bottom of the canvas, I began rendering squares and 45 degree angles freehand. In effect, I’ve pitted a matrix of circles against a grid of pixels (my sworn enemy). I like the result. I even may come to accept that a grid isn’t the Fall of Grace for humankind.

However, I won’t jump to such conclusions just yet.
